Prince William Named Cybersmiler Of The Month For June

The Prince has also recently formed a taskforce to tackle cyberbullying and online abuse alongside many of the worlds tech giants.

You will remember that last month that we rewarded Florence Welch and her machine for their private performance at a hospice…well just incase a celebrity performing a completely private gig for a sick fan wasn’t enough, June has seen England’s Prince William gracing the cover of ATTITUDE magazine! It’s important to mention that this is the first time in history a member of England’s Royal Family has been featured on the front cover of a gay publication, and lets hope it’s a trend that continues!

Prince William majestically spoke with ATTITUDE magazine about mental health issues and cyberbullying! He may not be next inline to take the thrown, but he’s certainly next inline for the Cybersmiler Of The Month crown!

“No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives. The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it.You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

We’re glad print isn’t dead (just yet!) so that we can relish in the #POSITIVITY that has prevailed in this months ATTITUDE without the fear of the wifi signal dropping!
