Alistair “Ali” Campbell is a singer and songwriter best known for being a founder member and the lead vocalist of band UB40. During his time in UB40, Ali toured the globe for over 30 years, sold over 70 million records and won awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello for International Achievement.
Since leaving UB40 in 2008, Ali has continued to successfully release solo material, and most recently has reunited with former bandmates Astro and Mickey to produce new music, including charity single Cyber Bully Boys in aid of Cybersmile.
Ali is a father to eight children and has spoken publicly in his condemnation of online bullying and hate campaigns.
