“Working alongside Cybersmile has allowed us to continue the vital work that Hope United kickstarted last year: to tackle the online hatred and cyberbullying that is sadly part of everyday life.”

Pete JeavonsMarketing Communications Director, BT

Overview

Our Hope United Roadshow campaign with BT was designed to tackle online hate, bullying, and abuse through the development and launch of a new online education platform and a series of live events for young people. A roadshow kicked off the new platform with a series of workshops for 10–18-year-olds across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The roadshow content consisted of three educational modules focusing on upskilling users and educating them on how to be good digital citizens. The program included content specific to each home nation and offered engaging learning experiences such as Digital Self-Care, The Impact of Online Abuse, and Why Hope Beats Hate.

The campaign aimed to help more people across the United Kingdom have the skills they need to stay connected, tackle the digital divide, and support the UK's economic recovery.
