Ariel Winter Wins Cybersmiler Of The Month Award For October

Ariel is a worthy winner with her inspiring approach in tackling cyberbullying and online negativity, well done Ariel!

Continuing on from September’s Cybersmiler of the Month winner Normani Kordei, we have another strong woman who has used her social status to combat negativity, boosting confidence and conveying to people that we should all be loving ourselves. We are thrilled to announce Modern Family star Ariel Winter, as our latest Cybersmiler of the Month!

Ariel Winter has been no stranger to defending off haters over the years on social media, and now she’s taking a ‘modern’ approach – with nothing but love! “I love my fans and I love my bullies for what they truly NEED is love. Take the high road, there is less traffic” (Check out some of our coping strategies if you need a bit of help yourself).

Ariel has declared that “Every time someone bullies me online, it gives me a chance to re-emphasise to my fans, and even to myself, how important self acceptance is. Those who say such harsh things on my Instagram, thank you for this opportunity but the question I ask myself each time I read the mean comments is if this is how you talk to a stranger online, I can only imagine how cruelly you speak to yourself. Stop the hate. Accept all that you are and know your flaws are what make you the PERFECT you.”

Taking negativity and using it as a point to reiterate to the public that online haters also need the love! If we learn to accept ourselves we wouldn’t find the need to judge or pass conflict onto others. Spread the power of positivity!
