Gwen Stefani Wins Cybersmiler Of The Month For August

It’s always so beautiful to see celebrities go the extra mile to positively affect those in need of a little boost, well done Gwen!

Following Jennifer Aniston winning last months Cybersmiler of the Month’s crown we have a new worthy winner, and if you haven’t heard about what Gwen did in Florida to win this award prepare to be impressed in a BIG way! It all starts off normal enough – a young boy went to the Florida leg of the ‘This is what the truth feels like’ tour with his Mum – but that’s where the normality ends and Gwen starts entering award winning territory as far as we are concerned! It turns out the the boys Mother was holding a sign above their head reading “My son was bullied from 1st to 5th grade. He would come home everyday upset but he’d go to his room, listen to your music and smile”

Gwen immediately requested that the boy joined her on stage, where the two then went on to make a moving stand against bullying, holding the boy’s arms up in the air symbolising strength and then giving him a great big hug!

Later that evening Gwen took to social media to highlight her appreciation of meeting the boy and also being able to use her position of influence to make a positive impact in the world.

“About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world – last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers.”
