SXSW cancel gaming abuse panel discussion

SXSW Interactive have announced that two planned panels for SXSW 2016 “SavePoint: A Discussion on the Gaming Community” and “Level Up: Overcoming Harassment in Games.” will no longer be a part of the event due to …”numerous threats of on-site violence related to this programme.”

Maintaining civil and respectful dialogue within the big tent is more important than any particular session.”
