Thank you Hatherop Castle School!

A huge thank you to all the pupils and staff of Hatherop Castle School for doing a whole week of fundraising for us during anti-bullying week – raising Cybersmile an incredible £514!

The school ran various fundraising and awareness raising events throughout the week ranging from cake sales through to non uniform days. After using Cybersmile resources for their internet safety unit of work, the school felt that the charity were the obvious choice to support. Hatherop Castle School Headmaster, Paul Easterbook, commented,

“We are very pleased to be supporting Cybersmile during our anti-bullying week this year. The School Council have worked very hard to put together a programme of activities to raise awareness of cyberbullying and to show support for this worthwhile charity. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the week.”

Cybersmile founder, Scott Freeman, added:

“Cybersmile are so grateful to Hatherop Castle School for raising us this fantastic amount of money, we are so pleased that they enjoyed using our resources and hope that the children and teachers are a little better equipped to deal with any potential cyberbullying incidents in the future, thank you and well done to everybody involved.”
